Thank you for considering a membership with Catholic Therapists Arizona. We offer a variety of membership categories, which you can see below.
Clinical Members
Catholic individuals who possess a graduate degree in a mental health field and are licensed in the State of Arizona to provide treatment for mental health conditions.
Non-Clinical Members
Catholic individuals within the helping professions through pastoral counseling, coaching, spiritual direction, or as a member of the clergy. Members are not listed in the directory but have access to discussion boards, member resources, and member events.
Student Members
Catholic individuals currently enrolled in a graduate program for mental health treatment.
Member Benefits
Directory Listing (Clinical and Student Members Only)
Create your own public directory profile, which CTA will actively promote to parishes, Catholic schools, and other Catholic businesses and organizations. Please note that non-clinical members are not eligible to be listed in the directory.
Marketing and Advocacy
Advertise your offerings on the CTA website: groups, consultation groups, trainings, webinars, etc.
CTA will actively advocate for sound Catholic psychotherapy throughout the Diocese of Phoenix and all of Arizona.
Networking and Consultation
Access the CTA social network, where there are numerous avenues for networking, consultation, seeking referrals, and sharing resources through a community-built resource library.
Training and Formation
Access to member-only training and formation events to support Catholic therapists in offering clinically sound psychotherapy, integrated with an authentic Catholic perspective.
Opportunities for spiritual growth and formation through virtual and in-person prayer events.
Events
Access to networking and social events, organized throughout the year by the CTA board and membership.
Prayer events for therapists to gather and pray for one another, for their clients, and for any other needs.
Access to recordings of CTA-hosted events to be viewed at your leisure.
